L'idéal

In Marseille's 5th arrondissement, in Sainte-Thérèse between La Blancarde and Saint-Pierre, modus aedificandi designs and develops L'idéal, a small six-storey building. Up to fifteen apartments are configured to residents' demand: volume, number of rooms, finishes, floor and orientation are all chosen. The structure and services are modular, so a duplex can revert to two simplexes as life changes. The shared spaces, a ground-floor commons opening onto a planted garden and a roof terrace looking over Marseille, are likewise decided by the residents, with costs and charges laid out. The building is sold under a Bail Réel Solidaire.
