Les dragées Aubagne

In Aubagne, the abandoned Dragées Régence factory, a brownfield site for years, is asked to come back to life as a mixed hub for sport, tech and neighbourhood life. Baldassari-Sibourg's response keeps the existing perimeter walls in place and slots a dense programme underneath: a nursery, a café, coworking, a bike workshop, and a NEC / Flight Zone run with Synergie Family on the model of l'Epopée in Marseille. The roof, until now strictly technical, becomes an inhabited surface, open onto the wider landscape. The project holds the industrial memory of the site without freezing it, and reattaches it to present-day use.
