Buropolis Sofia Antipolis

At Sophia Antipolis, Buropolis adds a new building, Buropolis 4, to an existing office ensemble of three, designed by Carta, Reichen et Robert Associés for the real estate fund VALIMMO REIM. The 2,408 m² sit on the footprint of the former outdoor car parks: no untouched ground is taken, already-sealed land is reused rather than pushing the business park further into the landscape. Environmental performance is the spine of the brief: 1,250 m² of photovoltaic panels, vegetated roofs, fully Mediterranean planting, on-site energy use, and E+C- and BREEAM Very Good targets. The project densifies the tech park instead of sprawling it, tied back to the buildings already there.
