Built in 1971, the Lycée Les Bourdonnières in Nantes enters a phase of restructuring and extension. Magnum grafts on three distinct poles, reception and school life, a common room, and a Transport and Logistics technical plateau, tied by one clear move that starts from the west, cuts through building F and reaches a reworked courtyard. The technical hall faces Boulevard de Vendée, putting the vocational streams on show to the city behind a landscaped forecourt that holds the new entrance. Construction is largely timber, post-and-beam frame, CLT floors, biosourced or straw-bale insulation, with the ground renatured to cool the site.
